went last night oct 23 with a co worker and some friends. we had the time of our lives. took about 2 and a half hours to get through the ticket line but had a blast doing so. from the group behind us with the funny man to the monsters that were scaring people in line it made the time fly while waiting for tickets. once we got in it was the craziest thing i ever been to. your trip begins down a steep wet tunnel that leads to the maze itself. once in you find your self going through all kinds of twist and turns never knowing what is a head of you. my favorite part was the several different tunnels that you have to choose which one leads you out. it took us about hour 10 mins to get through we got lost a lot but it made it fun. cant wait till next year i will be back again, HELL may even go back next friday night Skimpidy20hd This was my first year at the caves. I absolutely loved them. The first 35 minutes was fantastic. Loved the long journey on the bridge in the beginning just building the suspense. Very well hidden cast, very dark spots at times which was amazing. The first maze was what kept me from giving you guys a 10. We were in there for so long that we were very frustrated and it almost kinda knocks the whole experience a little bit. The second maze with all the doors was good but the first maze was just too much. Claustrophobic walls were amazing and the best I've seen. The touching of the monsters was awesome too. Probably the best haunted trail I've been too. I would rank it higher than the Dent School House and the Haunted Hoochie. Very well done guys, keep up the fantastic work!!!! I will be a returning customer now that I am hooked!! nideduderocks This has to be the best Haunted attraction I have ever been in. It took us almost an hour to get through the entire cave and find the exit. I do mean find the exit. The entire cave is an assorted twist of turns here and there to disorient and make you lost. We actually lost all of our friends and ended up sorting out the exit alone. Alone is not where you want to be in a dark scary cave. Things are constantly touching you and jumping out at you. It is sensory overload. A little boy in our group literally screamed for almost the entire hour. Even when we got seperated from them we could here him screaming in the distance. It was an amazing time. Something I will remember and tell friends about for a long long time to come. Thanks for the memories. Thanks! Lonnie C. - Hebron, KY 18 October, 2010 The cave was AWESOME. I loved it. Your act wasn't lame, it was good! There were so many good parts its hard to pick which one was my favorite. Anna and I both really liked the one where you couldn't see the ground and there was a hand that popped up and you had to walk through that plastic blow up stuff. We didn't know where to go cause it looked like you couldn't walk through it so we just stood there for a few minutes until someone else came by lol. The whole thing was very good though, very scary! I've never been scared by haunted houses or trails or anything like that but I was definitely terrified! Anna and I were holding onto each other the entire time, we were so scared. Definitely worth the $11. Better than Fearfest at Kings Island (and I've went there for the past 2 years, not this one though). I will definitely be coming back, if not this year next year for sure! All of your work on the Cave has really paid off! Abbey Quotes from Active Dayton By Mike October 22, 2009 Out of all of the haunts I and my family have been to the last few years as reviewers, i would have to place the lewisburg haunted cave at the top of the list. Besides the fact that it is actually underground, the actors are skilled, the props are sick, the maze is extremely fun, and the scares are terrifyingly great. There is no one scene that would be considered unworthy of the ticket price. And for the price, out of all of the listed haunts, this one is the best bang for your buck. By Daryl October 21, 2009 The Lewisburg Haunted Cave is far and away the best horror show running for almost 3oyears now. Almost an hour long, 80 ft. underground, and only 11 bucks! Great value, great time. By Sebastian Pearcy October 21, 2009 I have gone to a lot of Haunts this year and this is the best one I have been to by far. The actors were really great. The ones I remember are a Wal-Mart guy with a knife in his head, a guy that pops out of a door with an axe, these psycho doctors that are ripping people open, a car that almost hits you, a bloody jailer that has a chain and acts like he is going to beat you if you don’t get in the Jail, and then you go see the Devil and his wife. WOW! Best Haunted House ever! By Mark October 20, 2009 Haunted Cave by far the best of several we have visited. What could be scarier than real cave? Numberous neat scares and eye candy in cave. Trail and Hayrides aren’t near as scary as houses or cave to me Springboro was good. By Matt Keogh October 20, 2009 The Lewisburg Haunted Cave was great. We went out there last weekend and had a blast. There are monsters everywhere. Some of my favorite parts were the bridge, the crazy lady on tv, the monsters in the ceiling, the doctors and body they were working on, the evil Jebenezer Law who locked me up (LOL), and the crazy chainsaw guys. I was down there for over an hour. You guys are sick and my friends and I loved it. Well worth the price and the drive. We will definitely be coming back.
